Deacons Jeff C. Brown & Alphonso Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Investing in the Future of Our Youth

For more than forty-two years, the Massachusetts Baptist Deacon & Deaconess Association (MBDDA) has provided scholarship assistance to deserving first-year college, university, and technical school students who are pursuing higher education and are in need of financial support.

The scholarship awards are presented in memory of Deacon Jeff C. Brown, former Chairman of the Deacon Board at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and Deacon Alphonso Anderson, former Chairman of the Deacon Board at Messiah Baptist Church in Brockton, Massachusetts. Both men faithfully served as Presidents of the Massachusetts Baptist Deacon & Deaconess Association and dedicated their lives to supporting Christian leadership, education, and community service.

Scholarship recipients are recognized annually at the MBDDA Scholarship Luncheon.
